Special Sewer Program

The Special Sewer Calculation Program allows customers with excessive outdoor water usage to control their sewer cost. Customers that use an excessive amount of water that is not collected or treated by the City’s sanitary sewer system can benefit from signing up for this program. Examples include but are not limited to pool fills, yard and garden watering.

The utility billing department will calculate your average winter usage during the months of December-March. Then the April-November sewer bill will either be the calculated average or the actual usage for the cycle; whichever is less.

Your Special Sewer Calculation billing process will end each year in December. This is an annual program that you must sign up for and pay a $60.00 fee each year.
