Utility Rates

The City of Princeton provides a comprehensive utility rate structure that can accommodate a variety of residential, commercial, and industrial service needs. 

Useful Information

• To qualify for industrial electric rates, you must have a service over 200 amp and a connected load greater than 75 kW.
• Industrial demand charges are based on the higher of:
  • current demand rating OR
  • 70% of any of the previous 11 months demand rating
• Residential customers who are senior citizens age 65 and over qualify for a $3 discount of electric service charge
