New Electronic Recycling Options

Effective immediately, Princeton residents now have two local options for recycling the following electronics.

  • Televisions Monitors
  • Printers Computers/Laptops
  • Electronic Keyboards Facsimile Machines
  • Videocassette Recorders Portable Digital Music Players
  • Digital Video Disc Players Video Game Consoles
  • Small Scale Servers Scanners
  • Electronic Mice Digital Converter Boxes
  • Cable Receivers Satellite Receivers
  • Digital Video Disc Recorders

Option 1: Items can be taken, at no charge, to Illinois Valley Waste, 1858 Peggy Lane. Put items in the marked bins located at their shop. Drop off hours are Monday – Friday, 8 am – 4 pm.

Option 2: City of Princeton residents only may take items, at no charge, to the Street Department office, located across the street from the drive-thru recycling center, at 1105 N. Euclid Avenue. Put items in the bin marked "Electronics". Drop off hours are Monday-Friday, 7 am – 3 pm.
