Energy Efficiency

Energy effeciency is very important to the Princeton Electric Department. Many financial incentives are offered to residential and industrial customers to improve the energy efficency of their building.

Free energy audits are offered to all Princeton Electric customers in order to assess the effeciency of their building. Commercial and industrial customers can recieve up to $1000 back on improvements that are centered around energy efficiency or 15% of the cost of materials and labor. Residential customers can recieve up to $500 back on improvements that are centered around energy efficiency or 15% of the cost of materials and labor.
