  1. Electronics Recycling Event

    October 21, 2017, 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM

The City's electronics recycling event is this Saturday! Please read the information below to be prepared for the event: The Electronics Recycling Event will take place on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at Perry Plaza on 6th Street (next to the Princeton Library). Hours will be from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. All access to the Recycling Event only will be from Park Avenue East and onto northbound Sixth St. No access will be granted off of Peru St. to southbound Sixth St. While waiting in the line, do not block intersections or driveways. Patience is required as this event likely will be long and slow. The Recycling Company will tag the rear of the last vehicle expected to enter the event by 12:00 noon. Once the final vehicle is tagged, all others thereafter will not be permitted to enter the event and will need to abandon their places in line at once. Please exhibit common courtesy, as not everyone will get to participate. There will be other events in the future. Thank you.

Safety Recommendations: -Wear light-colored clothing that is short enough to prevent tripping and add reflective material. -Make sure your children can clearly see through their facemasks. -ACCOMPANY your children. -Go out in the daylight. -Carry a flashlight. -Watch for traffic. -Stay in your own neighborhood and visit only homes you know. -Only give or accept wrapped or packaged candy. -Examine your child’s candy before allowing them to eat it. -Drivers are requested to drive 5 miles per hour below the speed limit. If you should discover anything wrong with the treats brought home, CALL THE POLICE IMMEDIATELY so that other persons can be warned and the responsible person arrested. Your safety is our concern. Please help our children have a safe and enjoya
