The City of Princeton offices and departments use a number of computer based technologies in their everyday work. Formally established in 2006, the roles of the City of Princeton Information Technology (IT) Department are to provide the City of Princeton with professional technical support in the areas of computer workstation hardware/software, internal telephone system, Internet based applications, and network hardware/software. The IT Department also develops and maintains the City of Princeton Website and Comcast Government Access Channel 98.
