All department training is overseen by the Fire Chief and administered by the Fire Lieutenants. for all line personnel as well as mandatory and essential skills training for both line and staff personnel the programs include:

These agencies set requirements for training minimums, safety, certifications, and mandatory training subjects.
Staff Training Commitments
From the time a person is accepted into the ranks as a firefighter their training begins. All training programs offered within the Fire Department categorized into various programs that are mandated by specific roles and responsibilities. The role the Fire Department plays in the community is ever growing and ever changing.
By constantly incorporating training for these assorted topics, the personnel are ready to respond to any request for service. Due to the wide array of emergencies we respond to, we require our firefighters to have knowledge and understanding of every aspect of the job of fire suppression, rescue, emergency, medical services, and specialized response awareness.
