Engine 811 is first due to various alarms including all structure fires, fire alarms, vehicle fires, natural gas emergencies, and elevator rescues, and odor investigations. This vehicle has an approximate service life of 20 years depending on frequency of use.

This apparatus is staffed with 2-3 firefighters each day and carries the following equipment:
  • Thermal imaging camera
  • Vehicle extrication equipment
  • Class A and B foam capabilites
  • 1,250 gallon per minute pump
  • 1,000 gallons of tank water
  • 200-foot trash line
  • 4 200-foot preconnected hose lines with varied nozzles for fire attack
  • 1,000-foot, 5-inch large diameter water supply hose
  • 1,000-foot, 3-inch high rise water supply hose
  • 2 100-foot, 2.5-inch high rise packs
